ICASL Website Re-Launched
The new ICASL website was officially launched at the ICASL AGM on 6th June 2008 by the President of the Institute, Mr. Nishan Fernando. The main aim of new website is to improve the Institutes online image as well as to provide more and better services to the members, students as well as general public.
The new website is packed with a host of new features. Following are some of them :
- Online CPD Application Process.
- Forum for ICASL Members, Students and Staff.
- Member Profile updates via the Web.
- Student Profile updates via the Web. The profile has the student photo as well.
- Sections for Special Announcements and Forthcoming events with a Content Management System (CMS) for quick updates.
- Internet Payment Gateway (IPG) with better usability for Membership Subscriptions and Payments for various events organized by ICASL.
- Searchable Library Catalogue.
- ICASL News Archive.
- ICASL Journal Archive.
- ICASL Overseas Activities.
To access some features, members and students need to login to the restricted members or students areas.
The default member login will be as follows :
Membership No : Member ID (e.g. : 4567)
Password : Member ID + First four letters of the last name in lower case (e.g. : 4567wick)

The default student login will be as follows :
Student No : Student Number without the leading zeros. (e.g. : 1167859)
Password : Last name in lower case (e.g. : fernando)
